Common Questions

Clarifications on chartering, vessel capacity, weather considerations, and booking arrangements.

What is included in the charter fee?

Each charter includes the vessel, crew, fuel for the planned route, and the provisions mentioned in the specific charter description. For the Coastal Drift, this covers drinks and a snack board. For the Island Circuit, lunch is included. The Andaman Passage includes all meals prepared onboard. Additional requests such as specific beverages, dietary accommodations, or extended routes can be arranged for an additional fee.

How many guests can each vessel accommodate?

The Penang Coastal Drift accommodates up to six guests comfortably. The Island Circuit Day Charter can host twelve guests with adequate seating and deck space. The Andaman Passage Voyage is designed for six overnight guests across three cabins, though day portions of the route can accommodate additional visitors if arranged in advance.

What happens if weather conditions are unsuitable?

Safety considerations take precedence. If conditions are deemed unsuitable by our skipper, we will offer to reschedule your charter to another date at no additional charge. For multi-day voyages, if weather deteriorates mid-passage, the skipper will adjust the route to ensure comfort and safety, which may include sheltering in a protected bay or returning to port earlier than planned.

How far in advance should I book?

For evening cruises and day charters, we recommend booking at least one week ahead, particularly during the high season from December through March. Multi-day voyages should ideally be arranged two to three weeks in advance to allow for provisioning and crew scheduling. Last-minute bookings can sometimes be accommodated depending on vessel availability.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers and major credit cards. A deposit of thirty percent is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due three days before your scheduled departure. For corporate bookings or group charters, alternative payment arrangements can be discussed.

Do you provide fishing equipment or diving gear?

Basic snorkelling equipment is included on the Island Circuit and Andaman Passage charters. Fishing can be arranged as an optional activity on the Andaman Passage, with rods and tackle provided. We do not offer scuba diving equipment, though we can coordinate with certified dive operators if you wish to arrange a dive stop during your charter.
